ZBTHS WebCrew Expectations
Being a member of the ZBTHS
“WebCrew” provides a unique opportunity to learn computer
technology support and maintenance in a ”hands on” multi-platform,
networked environment. We use an
industry model in our organization with student centered leadership
opportunities. Career
opportunities in the computer technology field are outstanding and our goal for
the program’s student participants is to prepare them with entry-level skills,
experiences and certifications.
Since members of the WebCrew
are involved in the sensitive area of maintaining the school’s network,
computers, and software, it is critical that they understand what the
expectations are for the students involved in this program.
Expectations
This program has as its
foundation the development of the Personal Integrity of its participants. All members need to work together
toward that goal in a common bond of Trust, that in turn, earns the trust of our users.
Participants not complying with these expectations will not be able to continue
with the WebCrew program.
The following are some of
the special areas for growth and responsibility:

decisions not to engage in behavior that might adversely affect the ZBTHS

member
·
Disclosing sensitive
information regarding security issues to outsiders is a breach of trust
·
Don’t get involved
with individuals who break the schools technology rules
·
It is not your
responsibility to police students abusing the school’s technology but if
you are aware of a student who is breaking the rules please inform an adult
tech staff member
·
Be proactive with Grades,
Attendance, and Discipline
·
Your education is your
first priority—grades and attendance are very important

Students having serious
problems in these areas will not be able to participate in the program.
